Named in 10Best Competition for 2nd Year in a Row
USA Today has named The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring the #2 Adventure Park in the U.S. marking the park’s second consecutive year receiving a top honor in the publication’s annual 10Best competition. The Adventure Park finished #1 on the mainland with Hawaii’s Botanical Adventures finishing 1st overall.
Nominated by a panel of industry experts and USA Today editors, The Adventure Park joined more than 20 premier Adventure Parks, Challenge Courses, and Canopy Tours in this year’s competition.
“Our approach is simple: become the largest park of our kind in the country while maintaining the core team and small-business spirit that got us here,” said Matt Hines, Director of Business Development. “The results speak for themselves — we’re welcoming guests from all 50 states and beyond. Over the past three years, The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring has received numerous awards from local and regional publications, been honored by the Olney Chamber of Commerce, and earned recognition from Governor Wes Moore. It also remains the only park in Maryland to complete the rigorous Accreditation Program through the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT).
